This fashion editorial was created in collaboration with costume designer Harzy Hartlieb, who styled the shoot with a selection of striking haute couture pieces. Set against the historic backdrop of a castle in Wuppertal, the series blends theatrical elegance with contemporary portraiture. The contrast between elaborate silhouettes and minimal compositions creates a timeless, cinematic atmosphere.

Story
The Story Behind the Shoot
The goal was to photograph emotion without direction — to capture what exists naturally between silence and self-awareness. Amelia’s stillness became the language of the session. Each frame was an exercise in restraint, where composition and contrast guided the story rather than overt styling or pose.
The series was edited with care to preserve skin tone and texture, with neutral color grading that allowed the emotion to speak. Shadows became part of the personality — honest, grounded, and timeless.
